Dear Colleagues,
We would like to thank you for your participation in 2010 WISE SoE Data Delivery, concerning your delivery (Lake Quality 2009) under Reporting Obligation named: Lake quality (EWN-2).
Our Institute-National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), is responsible for the quality control of the EIONET Data Flow on Lakes requested to the MS by the EEA, and since the respective envelope is assigned as "Complete", we would like to inform you, that the template which has been used is based to an old format and not according to the latest one.
This inaccuracy does not permit to the Automatic QA mechanism to work, as well as, it makes the delivery unable or very demanding to be processed and sometimes very important data is missing due to the incorrect version of the template. The consequences of this procedure will result to a lower country performance score in the smiley report which is being published every year, under Eionet Priority Data Flows.
By that way we would like to ask and encourage you to use, the latest version of the template and the respective Data Dictionary, which can be found here:
http://dd.eionet.europa.eu/dataset.jsp?mode=view&ds_id=2866
Also, we would like to remind you that this activity will run until the end of October. However, and because of this misunderstanding a little delay (15 days) in the new delivery will be acceptable.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you in advance for your interest and time to reply.
Best regards,
Papoutsoglou George
GIS Manager
NTUA
