This rule checked that the station longitude and latitude are in correct boundaries.
2. EoI station code values
This rule checked that the EoI station code occurs in the list of active stations available from previous years. For new stations the code should be left blank unless your country has made a formal agreement with EEA to take over responsibility for allocation from the EoI database manager.

3. Bad values
This rule checked the values of type of station O3, type of station EoI and the type of area EoI.
- Type of station O3 should be U, S, R or RB
- Type of station EoI should be T, I or B.
- Type of area EoI should be U, S, R, RNCA, RREG or RREM.
