The following 5 quality checks were made against exceedance of ozone information threshold values file.

This rule checked that the maximum 1-hour mean ozone concentration is not erroneous or abnormal.

This rule checked that the EoI station code occurs in
the list of active stations available from previous years. For new stations the code should be left blank unless your country has made a formal agreement with EEA to take over responsibility for allocation from the EoI database manager.

This rule checked month and day values.
Month value should be the number between 1 and 12 and that is the same for all entries in one monthly file.
Day of month should be number between 1 and the maximum day number in respective month.

This rule checked the time of the exceedance period.

This rule checked the total number of exceedance hours.
