Marine regions (ETRS) 10x10km grids
European (ETRS) 50x50km grids


'The European (ETRS) 50x50km grids' (Europe_50km.zip) and the 'Marine regions (ETRS) 10x10km grids' (Marine_regions_10km.zip) available from the reference portal  were produced using the same methodology as the grids in the EEA dataservice (see https://www.eea.europa.eu/data-and-maps/data/eea-reference-grids-2). 

They are extended to cover Marine Macaronesian region (the European grid file (Europe shapefile 10 km 100 km) available at the EEA dataservice does not cover fully Marine Macaronesian region). 

'Marine regions (ETRS) 10x10km grids' (Marine_regions_10k) propvides the split by the marine regions (MMAC, MATL, MMED, MBAL, MBLS).
