The following 8 quality tests were made against this table - WISE-SOE 2010: Nutrients in Rivers - Aggregated Data
1. Mandatory values
This test checked the presence of mandatory elements - CountryCode, NationalStationID, Year, AggregationPeriod, Determinand_Nutrients, NumberOfSamples, Mean.
2. Country codes
This test checked the correctness of country code. All CountryCodes has to match the one of the reporting Country.
3. Duplicates
This test checked the uniqueness of primary keys. The combination of the elements CountryCode, NationalStationID, Year, AggregationPeriod, Determinand_Nutrients and SampleDepth must create a unique record in the table. No duplicate records should exist with this combination.
4. Data types
This test checked that the format of reported elements matches the Data Dictionary specifications.
5. Valid codes
This test checked the correctness of values against code lists (fixed values) - AggregationPeriod, Unit_Nutrients, Determinand_Nutrients.
6. Logical checks
This test checked the logical consistency of the NumberOfSamples, Minimum, Mean, Maximum, Median and StandardDeviation values.
7. Chemical checks
This test checked the chemical rule violations. Mean value is checked for different determinands on same station / year / aggregationPeriod.
8. Outlier checks
This test checked the possible outliers if values are greater than specified values.
