The following 8 quality tests were made against this table - WISE-SOE 2010: River Monitoring Stations
1. Mandatory values
This test checked the presence of mandatory elements - CountryCode, NationalStationID, WaterCategory, Longitude, Latitude.
2. Country codes
This test checked the correctness of country code. All CountryCodes has to match the one of the reporting Country.
3. Duplicates 1
This test checked the uniqueness of primary keys. The combination of the elements CountryCode and NationalStationID must create a unique record in the table. No duplicate records should exist with this combination.
4. Duplicates 2
This test checked the uniqueness of station coordinates. Duplicate coordinates should be checked to see whether an error has occurred.
5. Station coordinates
This test checked the correctness of station coordinates against respective Country bounding boxes.
6. Data types
This test checked that the format of reported elements matches the Data Dictionary specifications.
7. Valid codes
This test checks the correctness of values against code lists (fixed values) - WFDstation, WaterCategory, RBD-code, SeaConventionArea, Geology, WaterColourLevel, AlkalinityLevel.
8. RBDcode and RBDname
RBDname must be provided only if RBDcode is empty, otherwise the RBDname should be empty.
