Data origins are the Swedish Rivers, scale 1:250,000 provided by the National Land Survey of Sweden, modified by SMHI to fit the Water Bodies chosen by the Water Authorities. The dataset has been partly haromonized against data from Norway and Finland. The dataset origins are being continuously maintained. We are still missing catchment areas for many water bodies so it has not been possible to adapt the delivery of rivers surface water bodies to the criteria of "only those with catchment area > 500 sq km are included". The delivery consists of river surface water from the water body nearest to the source, to the outlet. The dataset is complete.
