Reporting package

The "reporting package" endorsed by the Marine Directors in June 2012, includes a concept paper on the approach to reporting under the MSFD. A set of reporting sheets, addressing geographic aspects, regional cooperation and Articles 8, 9, and 10 and a guidance document to accompany the reporting.

• Installation of standalone Desktop XML Validation tool (validation tool is integrated into Conversion tool, so not necessary to install)

Schema style sheets

The style sheets can be downloaded and used with desktop XML applications, e.g. XMLSpy. Additionally, the desktop validation tool will convert XML using the style sheets, and XML can be transformed online in CDR. After uploading a file to an envelope, click on the file and then View it as 'HTML factsheet'.

Reporting of spatial data and metadata

Submission

Submission of schemas is made through the ReportNet Common Data Repsoitory. Guidance on uploading to ReportNet can be found in Document no. 1(Document 1).
